And even though I do a lot of searching for the new, I just won't be able to get comfortable with all the important bands of all genres.<br /><br />Yes, that was a Dirty Trash show with Elliott Brood. I remember it well. One of the managers from the Rock'n'Roll Hotel specifically went to see them as well. I've stumbled onto a few of your suggestions, but I'll try to check out some of the other reviews and blogs you suggest. I'll reread it sometime when I don't have to get to sleep soon (just got back from White Wives at DC9). <br /><br />BTW, I noticed you mention Elliot Brood a couple of times - it stood out because they seem quite obscure, and I also enjoyed them opening for someone (Dirty Trash?) at DC9 a couple years ago.
